Job Description

Position Summary:

Perform clerical and administrative duties, support training and enforcement of company and departmental policies while coordinating human resources for the warehouse department.

Major Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily staff activity and enforce policy and procedure expectations.
  • Manage daily scheduling, overtime and voluntary 7th day work opportunities for qualified employees
  • Assist with the input of delivery/receiving materials into SAP. Generating of bill of ladings, packing slips and other required documentation.
  • Generate manual pick lists and inventory cycle counting lists.
  • Enforce inbound and outbound trailer checks in accordance with OSI and their Customer’s Food Safety and Security Policies.
  • Assist with incoming calls to the warehouse concerning appointments, order changes, tracking shipments, etc.
  • Manage the distribution, filing and maintenance of daily paperwork and record keeping.
  • Manage the small package receiving and distribution. Assist with FedEx, UPS, freight or other expedited service as necessary.
  • Coordinate communication of necessary and pertinent information between warehouse and customer service/order entry department.
  • Communicate effectively in a cross-departmental environmental.
  • Prepare any special documents and/or gather necessary paperwork as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requires Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of SAP business software. WM with RF Scanner experience preferred.
  • English speaking required, Spanish speaking a plus. All documents are completed in English.
  • Three plus years forklift experience.
  • Experience in the traffic/transportation industry preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand and walk intermittently for various periods of time throughout each shift.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in extreme hot or cold environments.
