Job Description

The Assistant Treasurer is a key member of the Treasury team and a primary contact for bankers, noteholders and rating agencies for analysis and information used in the credit process. Evaluation of treasury and debt products including the development of requirement in partnership with the business units and bankers is another key responsibility of the position.

  • Support key relationships, rating agencies, banking and financial institutions, company investors and senior management.
  • Primary contact for bankers, noteholders and rating agencies for analysis and information used in their credit processes.
  • Initial review of credit, debt and treasury services agreements and formulation of solutions by partnering with legal and business partners on acceptable alternatives.
  • Develop appropriate reporting and modeling capabilities required to support short-term, long-term liquidity forecasting and credit analysis needs through indirect modeling working closely with corporate FP&A.  
  • Evaluation of treasury, trade and debt products including the development of requirement in partnership with the business units and bankers.
  • Mitigate FX and interest risk across the organization in a manner consistent with the risk profile of the company in a cost effective manner.
  • Develop treasury reporting dashboards appropriate to various stakeholders. 
  • Drive/support the initiatives to treasury and cash management processes.
  • Collaborate with IT to establish and maintain global treasury technology solutions, including required interfaces, to support the breadth of treasury requirements. 
  • Identify improvements and monitor debt covenant compliance, and prepare related calculations and certificates, in accordance with debt agreements.  
  • Key treasury member of M&A due diligence and integration planning. 
  • Support regional treasury organizations 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Experience managing relationships with bankers, noteholders, rating agencies and senior management.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate a diverse and globally distributed team to produce quality results in an efficient manner and simultaneously manage multiple projects. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and global treasury operations with a track record for increased responsibilities. International experience is highly desirable. 
  • Collaborative business partner and advisor, adept in building cross-functional relationships to drive business results.
  • Strong understanding of global treasury operations with a diverse financial background. 
  • Ability to create and maintain complex accounting reports within a spreadsheet application.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, and either MBA in Finance/Accounting and/or CPA 
  • Work Conditions are typical office environment Office job, lifting/moving less than 25 lbs
  • Laptop computer required
  • Travel may be required, mainly domestic. Less than 20% anticipated.
