- Follow proper loading and unloading safety procedures; make sure wheels are chocked on trailers/truck and the dock-lock has been engaged.
- Inspect all trailers before loading and unloading for any problems.
- Ability to drive forklift.
- Follow proper procedure to take care of damaged product and document it if unsalable.
- Use partials of product, whenever possible.
- Use product by code date, oldest first when possible.
- In spare time stack bulk, straighten/clean the freezer/warehouse/dock area, put partials together, put future orders together or any other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
- Follow all documentation procedures required by Company and Quality Assurance when unloading trucks.
- All trailers must be clean and dry before loading. Contact Crewleader before loading.
- Make sure all paper work is accurate for product loaded on the truck. Adjusted case counts and weights must be initialed by Crewleader or Supervisor.
- Do not release the trailer to pull out until bills are signed.
- Follow all GMP`s (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Report any unusual activities in or around the plant to management, ASAP.
