Job Description

Operate production machines to grind, slice, form, cook, freeze or pack raw materials and/or finished product.

  • Set up machine for operation in accordance with established product specifications.
  • Adjust equipment for speed, temperature, etc. as necessary to meet specifications.
  • Load for continuous feed of material through machine.
  • Visually inspect output for required quality standards.
  • Perform minor troubleshooting of machine operating problems; disassemble and reassemble.
  • Record outputs as required.
  • Keep area clean.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Follow Safety lockout/tag out procedures
  • Monitor the equipment and instruct employees working near equipment of proper safety techniques and precautions
  • Follow instructions well and assist others as needed
  • Take responsibility for production goals and take appropriate steps to try to obtain these goals.
  • Take the initiative to speak with employees about their respective jobs and their performance.
  • Be able to both take and give instruction and ensure that the instructions are followed as intended
  • Possess basic computer skills in order to enter daily production information into databases.
  • Understand and follow/instruct others on GMP’s

Job Requirements


  • 3 months of on the floor training.
