Job Description


 Organize and manage daily activity of production maintenance for a three shift operation.


(i.e., Policies, procedures, goals, etc. for which you are responsible.)

  • Organize and administer Preventive Maintenance Program for a three shift operation.
  • Schedule appropriate personnel via work orders to maintain and/or repair equipment.
  • Provide maintenance staff with the proper equipment to perform effectively.
  • Provide guidance and training to ensure that maintenance staff complies with food safety regulations.
  • Responsible for the maintenance staff’s quality and quantity of work.
  • Ability to demonstrate a hands-on approach when assisting staff with maintenance needs.
  • Respond to after-hours emergency repair calls as required
  • Under direction, supervise the maintenance of safe and sanitary working conditions and operating procedures.
  • Approve employee time cards.
  • Under direction, supervise training, assist employees, evaluate performance, handle grievances, enforce company rules, maintain employee morale, and recommend compensation and other changes in employee status.
  • Maintain records relating to all maintenance activities and submit to the Maintenance/Engineering Manager
  • Under direction, supervise the checking of equipment prior to production start-up, diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs as necessary to ensure that processing equipment will be in operation as required.
  • Under direction, supervise and maintain inventories of maintenance supplies and reorder parts as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements



  • Degree or Certificates in technical field such as Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics.

  • Five or more year’s supervisory experience in a Production Maintenance Operation.

  • Experienced in Preventive Maintenance Systems and Inventory Control Systems.

  • Good motivator and developer of people.

  • Results oriented.

  • Ability to work as a management team player with Production Operations.

  • High accomplishment expectations of self and subordinates.
