Job Requirements of 3rd Floor Bacon Lead 2nd Shift:
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting supervisor and co-workers perform a variety of tasks associated with the production and manufacture of oval beef steak logs.
MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
(Essential duties for which this position is responsible.)
• Ability to do HACCP checks on the X-Ray
• Ability to document all information
• Able to fill in for line group leader
• Understand product specifications
• Ensure GMP’S are being followed
• Ensure Food Safety policies are being followed
• Perform all jobs in a manner that assures maximum possible personal safety, food safety and product quality.
• Prepare meat for blocking, slicing, and inspection of meat for quality.
• Form raw material into oval beef steak log and prepare for freezing.
• Slice oval, package and palletize product for shipment.
• Perform tasks including evaluating product against performance and quality specifications such as trimming, clipping and pressing.
• Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
High School or GED preferred.
Meat experience preferred.
