Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting supervisor and co-workers perform a variety of tasks associated with the production and manufacture of sausage products.

MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

(Essential duties for which this position is responsible.) 

  • Perform all jobs in a manner that assures maximum possible personal safety, food safety and product quality.
  • Tasks include product grinding, blending, forming, and cooking.
  • Perform all tasks which require the ability to complete and accurately evaluate paperwork.
  • Perform tasks including evaluating product against performance and quality specifications.
  • Must be able to work in extreme hot and/or cold environments with high noise levels.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Lock Out / Tag Out certification.
  • May be required to obtain powered industrial truck license.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS 

High school, GED or equivalent preferred

Meat experience and background preferred

Internal Candidates Only Preferred
